Promise Ring Electric Pink

I told her I would, as long as it wasn’t the cute pink and silver coupe I’d seen online. However, driving one on a highway as an 18-wheeler passed me would make me feel like I’m driving a match box car. My best friend, Michele, however, thinks they’re cute as can be. She made me to promise that if I ever found one in an egg, I’d give it to her. When I bought my smart, I traded in a Dodge that, although it was paid off, I was spending about $400/month on gas. The $250 that I save every month covers my car payment. It's very capable on my highway commute, even on the road with 18 wheelers. I understand smart cars in the cities. For the same commute I now spend $150/month.

It's a solid venture into indie pop before indie pop was sleigh bells and one man bands, some people call it emo and it may be, but to me it's the perfect dosage of late 90's/early 00's modern rock songs. The Promise Ring just so happens to be one of my more favorite bands, I can say that with assurance even after never listening to Wood/Water at all. The catchy catch that has caught me. I found out that their long time guitarist Jason Gnewikow is gay and it's inspired me to pop up this EP on here.
